I reduced a couple of cities to size 1 and then destroyed them. How do I clean/remove the ruins?

Pillage them. Any land unit (not just settlers/workers/engineers) can do this. (But ruins don't do any harm.) -- JTN (talk) 18:24, January 1, 2014 (UTC)
