I'm just not a fan of GTK widgets. Is there any possibility of seeing a Qt4 version? One nice aspect of Qt4 is SVG graphics that can scale up and down. 68.99.7.22 20:46, 13 June 2009 (UTC)Enderandrew
- Also GTK+ is plain ugly in comparison with Qt. Perhaps that's why no offence, but current freeciv interface is plain ugly too. Transition or at least port to Qt could make the game look much more appealing. SkyBon 14:22, February 8, 2010 (UTC)
- There's no way Qt port would realize itself out of nothing. If we want Qt port, we must make it ourselves. I would be more than happy to commit to the project, but I cannot lead it. I believe Qt would require C++, which would introduce difficulties. See Forum: Recreate with C++
thinking it could be good to utilize marble (google earth like qt app)
