Hidden Resources[]

Land tiles often carry hidden resources. You can discover them by transforming the terrain to the same terrain type as the hidden resource. For example, below you see that Swamp may have hidden resources from Grassland, Forest, or Ocean. Any of those transformations have an 18% chance of resource discovery. On the other hand, irrigating Jungle to Grassland has a 0% chance of discovery, because Jungle only has hidden Pheasants, which are native to Forests only.
