Tx.irrigation

Irrigation is a terrain modification performed by a settler, worker, or engineer. Irrigated terrain produces more food for a city than terrain that has not been irrigated.

Mechanics

  • The irrigation order can only be given to a settler, worker, or engineer.
  • The terrain to be irrigated must have one of its four sides adjacent to a water source.
  • An irrigated square generates one more unit of food per turn.
  • A square can only contain irrigation or a mine; building both will replace the first.
