hex2t[]

@GriffonSpade: Nothing is wrong with the "official" name hex2t, for starters we could link to its source: …/data/hex2t. Suggestion, let's delete the hex2t redirect, then rename hex-2 to hex2t without leaving a redirect. –Dunnoob 💩 08:50, February 17, 2018 (UTC)

Done, I'll "vanish" the hex-2 on Hex2t; holler if that was too speedy, undelete etc. is no problem. –Dunnoob 💩 02:59, February 19, 2018 (UTC)
@Dunnoob: Official name is actually Hex-2 as seen in the hex2t.tilespec file:
; A simple name for the tileset specified by this file

name = "Hex-2"
...I'm not entirely sure why the explicitly stated name of rulesets isn't displayed.

That's the first time I've heard about vintage 2006 hex-2. If you think that it's notable for the purposes of the Wiki, e.g., folks searching for hex-2 or JFTR, we can of course add a hex-2 redirect (done). –Dunnoob 💩 04:34, February 19, 2018 (UTC)
Ah, I wasn't aware of any vintage, just that even current versions have the above code declaring the name to be Hex-2. Doubtless a tidbit generally known only to those who deal with tileset modding, as ruleset name is not actually used in the GUI AFAIK for some reason. Usually it would be the code and directory that would be hidden. :P
