city outputs[]
What is the formula to calculate the luxury, science and gold outputs of a city as it doesn't seem to be a direct distribution of the "trade" output multiplied by the lux/science/tax adjustments.
i.e.: a city with 4 trade and a science/tax of 50%/50% will not be generating 2 golds. Thanks!
- did you account for waste? The basic distribution is calculated as given by the tax rates (see ./common/city.c:add_tax_income()) --Syntron 21:39, 18 June 2009 (UTC)
migration[]
the feeling of the citizens formula, isn't the last term 'angry citizens'? --Tjal 14:56, January 12, 2010 (UTC)
- you are right! I did change this --Syntron 16:50, January 12, 2010 (UTC)
combat[]
is it ok to add/write something about the math of combat to this page? --Tjal 14:56, January 12, 2010 (UTC)
Yes, you are invited to write something. Most information you can get directly from the source code --Syntron 16:50, January 12, 2010 (UTC)
It sure would be nice if someone would specify whether combat bonuses are additive or multiplicitive. I can't seem to find that anywhere.
