Events Reference Manual[edit source]

Hi, sorry for the incredibly slow response to the comment you left me last October about your rewritten Lua reference. I dunno if you're still around, but FYI:

I agree the format looks better, and I'll probably be using it as the basis for replacing the existing reference for the 2.4 release, although I might tweak it a bit. (Not least because, as I've only just realised, GNAPATCH#2514 made pretty extensive changes to the interface and taking your version will probably be quicker...)

In the longer term, I'd like to do something more Doxygen-like for the Lua interface documentation -- see GNAPATCH#3429 for thoughts -- but that's probably not going to happen any time soon.

No problem using it. If I find the time I will have a look! At the moment I started to (or better tried to) follow the discussion on the list again but my time is limited due to real life.
Your version of the lua interface documentation is a lot of easier to read due to the color code used - good idea! I support the use of something like doxygen. This tool is fast and supports lots of languages. I use it at work ...
Perhaps this will motivate me to rebase my luaai patches to current trunk and start working on it again?! --Syntron 15:32, July 21, 2012 (UTC)
