Units catalogue Edit
I just made a few changes to the game manual. I wanted to move the Units_Catalogue page to simply Units so that all the links would work properly. But when i moved the old Units page to Units_chronological the wiki made a redirect from the old page to the new one. Of course i am not authorized to delete pages so i can't move the Units_Catalogue to Units the way i intended to. Could you do this for me please?
I also made an exact copy of the Units_chronological (in Units_chronological2) so that if you need to delete the first one, you can do so without loosing anything. Then you can either rename the second page (that does not have any redirect on it) or simply delete it, if there is no need for it...
Thanx alot, Osyluth
- 13 years later, I've deleted your copy Units_chronological2, because somebody (=me) claimed three years ago that it was about a problem solved in 2004 and discussed here.;-) –Dunnoob 💩 09:58, November 19, 2017 (UTC)
Mac Build update Edit
You're welcome for the edit; I had trouble building and figured it out so I figured I may as well update the Wikia with what I found. Also, I plan to add a a how-to for how you make the command line into a Macintosh clickable application and put it in your applications menu using some apple script.
- I started out this Wiki, initially self-hosted, by moving over our Freeciv docs (manuals, walkthroughs, etc) that were in various formats to Wikitax by hand. Eventually our server hardware failed and we had manpower issues. I was going to move to a new job and we decided to put everything here in Wikia so it could survive for our users. I have been quite busy since (finished a PhD, guiding MSc students, working on CAD systems) so I haven't had much time to devote for Freeciv for years. But there are plenty of other sysops here. -Vasc (talk) 17:42, July 2, 2016 (UTC)
